Ladies, have you ever found yourself at the top of a downtown hill and a wave of panic engulfing you because you’re wearing heels? Here are 3 heel friendly tips that will take the wobble out of your legs!
1. Be confident, don’t show any fear. You may be wobbling inside, but keep your head up and your eyes forward. In most cases it’s the fear of falling that makes you wobble, most likely you’ll never fall.
2. Know your shoes, if you can barely walk on flat ground avoid hills at any costs. I know I keep 2 hour shoes, or lean on the boyfriend for balance shoes, but they will never see a glimpse on a hill. Just in case you do happen to come across a hill in 2 hour shoes follow rule number one.
3. It’s OK to walk right against the closet building wall. I know I treat it as a security blanket just in case I do start to feel myself falling. If you do fall, which I am not afraid to admit I have done before, the humiliation sets in for maybe a few minutes. A positive thing from the whole situation is that instead of walking by people actually do stop to help. It’s refreshing to see how many people do come to your rescue. The cars going by, you don’t know them and they will go past you in a two second flash.
So just to review, be confident, eyes up and if you do happen to fall you might just make some new friends!

Are you a bag lady? Do you carry all sorts of unnecessary essentials in your purse? I know i do! It is very common for ladys to collect so many unimportant things in their purse that it makes it so hard to find the important things you actually need. Lets say it’s your turn at the register at Nordstrom, your hands are full and your holding up the line by searching for that one credit card that somehow mingled it’s way to the very bottom of your tote bag. Here are 5 tips on how to keep your purse organized and ways to get around that messy purse!
First: Decide what kind of purse best suits you. Keep in mind that many small pockets on the outside and inside will make it easier to find things, as well as keep the mess more organized and in control.
Second: Decide what you need in your purse everyday. Dump everything out of your purse and go through it by making two piles..things you frequently use everyday and items you could live without.
Third: Think hygiene and beauty! How much makeup to you use? Do you go out alot? If you do, you will probably want to keep a make-up bag. Don’t forget the hand sanitizer and a sanitary tampon. Many purses have a zippered inside pocket where you can carry personal items discreetly.
Fourth: Make a point to use up your change, otherwise it will all sink to the bottom of your purse weighing it down.
And Finally! Make sure to clean your purse at least once a month. Throw out any old receipts, bus passes or trash. Go though everything you carry and make sure it is serving its purpose.
Hope these tips help you maintain the clutter within!

Scarves are scarves, remember that.
Small square kerchiefs in the back pocket of pants, or front pocket of a jacket can really tie in a look. I am also loving the idea of small kerchiefs tied daintily to the wrist, for spring. The keffiyeh look has been really in (an possibly out) since 2007. Over-sized pashmina’s should be worn around the neck open in the front; while silk and varicose blends can be worn more loosely, with either a knot in the front or the back.
The bandit scarf is pretty awesome, but mix it up in 2010. Don’t just tie the two ends in a knot in the back! Add a knot to one side on the front (to the side of the right angle in the center), to change up an old-classic. Or use a chunky bead to turn your statement scarf into statement jewelry. As we saw in 2009, lines are being blurred between scarves, bibs, and necklaces.
Instead of tying your scarf around your waist, try twisting it tightly, and using it as headband, for an airy Grecian-inspired look.
For those of you who have a fashion budget, know that it is not about what you buy but how you wear it. Try mixing up your clothing with accessories like colorful scarfs and sexy high heeled boots to go along with a dress you have worn more than once. With the economy as bad as it is today, we have to be more careful about are fashion budget, but glamoring up a basic white or black t-shirt will always stay in style. Here is a Wish List on affordable fashion accessories that you could wear this spring!
