Spreading Some Indie Cheer to the Holidays No comments yet

Guest post by Ina of M641 Clothing.
The M641 collection can now be found in many boutiques throughout the US, with plans to include a variety of retail websites and multi-unit retailers. M641 is a blend of feminine and sexy, rebellious and bold. The core of each collection includes tunics, blouses, dresses and button down shirts. Supremely comfortable in 100% cotton, M641 is versatile enough to wear with high heels or flip-flops, to the office or to a club.
With party season upon us, Katja and I thought it would be fun to rev up the holidays by sharing some indie dress up options with you.
Let’s face it, the economic situation has been tough on all of us. Why spend your hard earned money by paying a big label a 400+% markup!? And cookies are great but cookie-cutter fashion…ummm, not so much.
So here is my gift to you. I went up and down the gamut of prices. Hopefully I picked something which you think sparkles.
Here are some Indie dress options:

An EC Star Original, The Taylor Stewardess Dress, at $126

Chulette Talin Top (price not yet listed)

The Brooke Dress by Phyl Casual $75.00
Gotta show my M641 love. From our Winter Collection is The Emperor’s Mistress Dress which features sequin epaulettes is $66.00 .

The M641 Bow-roque Blouse in super soft baby cord with plaid and floral touches is $68.00 (and stay tuned for a giveaway - we will be giving this top for one lucky reader!)

The Lara Dress can be custom made by Etsy Seller: My Black Dress and is $92.00
My advice is simple. Whatever you choose, be it a dress, a lovely blouse or an accessory…make it yours! Embrace the independence and possibilities in the utterly unique, Indie fashion realm.
After your tree has come down and decorations put away… remember to check out an Indie Designer sometime. Perhaps you can even find a local favorite. Not only are they usually pretty cool people. (sure they might not be toasting at VIP parties, or have the invite to industry posh events, but their day will come) Regardless, we’re hoping that your holiday and the upcoming new year will be Indie-rific!
*cheers* (from couch in her pajamas)
