Inspired Ink from Momental Designs

First let me say how much I have been looking forward to my first guest post on the Wishpot Wedding Blog. A big thanks to giftgirl for the warm welcome.

My name is Kristy Rice and I am a Custom Invitation Artist. Everyday I work with super creative couples who all have one goal in common - to craft a distinctive event that speaks of their sensibilities. While you may have a color or gown chosen, you most likely still yearn for the thoughtful combination of details that best bring your vision alive - am I right? You truly need not look further than your most recent shopping adventure to uncover inspired details. Perhaps an amazing shoe in the perfect raspberry shade or handbag hardware in a shimmering bronze will become all the inspiration you need! The items you indulge in daily can often possess the details to conceive a stunningly personal event!

I chose a few items from my Wishpot Wishlists and created inspiration layouts for each. When beginning the custom design process I always ask the same three questions 1. What inspired your color choices? 2. What type of mood do you hope to create for your day? and 3. What words best describe the details of your day? With the help of several of my favorite photographers and florists, these boards are meant to either inspire you directly or encourage you to simply ask yourself the three questions above and see where the answers lead!

Have fun!
