Fun, Out of the Ordinary Wedding Registry Ideas

As you might or might not know, I’m a wedding expert on Wishpot.com, and here I have rounded up some of my favorite wedding registry gift ideas.  For my complete list, visit my Wishpot

This one’s probably for the bride: a giant cupcake pan!  Create a 3-D cupcake for the whole party to share! The non-stick cast aluminum pan allows you to bake both halves of the cake at once. Simply secure the baked top half onto the bottom with a thin layer of frosting, then frost and decorate as you wish. Makes a cupcake approximately 8" high x 6" diameter. Pan is 15.5" long.

Love music?  Then the Apple Eos Wireless Stereo Speaker System & Subwoofer for iPod is a great wedding registry idea!  The Eos system supports any iPod with a dock connector. You can also use the auxiliary analog input to broadcast audio from other audio sources: XM or Sirius Satellite radio, San Disk or Zune MP3 players, computers, CD players, stereos—anything with an audio output.

This Wurlitzer retro Coca Cola soda machine is a fun addition to any home!  Ready to serve two of your favorite beverages in either cans or bottles, this unit is an exact replica of the most cherished and collected soda machine ever made. Originally introduced in 1956, less than 10,000 were made. Requiring floor space of just 16" x 18", it meets small space requirements. Combining today’s technology with yesterday’s nostalgic styling, Wurlitzer USA just created another collectible.

Hand Painted Signature Platters are a unique alternative to wedding guest books.  A special ceramic marker is sent along with instructions and guests sign the platter at the event. Then the platter is fired in your home oven for 30 min at 300 degrees F. And presto!

  1. Like these ideas. ESPECIALLY the signature plates that can be put in an ordinary oven for a unique and useful keepsake. Thanks for the link!
