Guest Blog Post Inspiration of the Week! {Out of the Box Centerpieces} Kristine from Trendsetting Wedding

I love unique centerpiece ideas and I adore centerpieces that are creative and eye-catching in ways that go beyond using an abundance of flowers. My newest interest focuses around incorporating, or using boxes, as a focal point of a table.

The photos below are some of my favorites. To me, centerpieces don’t have to be large or tall to be eye-catching. Here are some out-of-the-box designs…pun intended, of course.

Looking for an additional feature for your centerpiece? You can add old books on the boxes, like in the second image above - stack a couple and leave one or two open and place the flowers on top. For a table, it can be made on a smaller scale to allow adequate room for the table settings. You can also create unique centerpieces by using tea tins or cigar boxes as vases. I came across this great cigar box centerpiece ‘how to’ at the DIY Network.

Each week at my blog, trendsetting wedding, I have an ‘inspiration of the week’ topic and this week’s topic is unique centerpieces…so be sure to check the blog this week for more centerpiece inspiration and each week for different inspiration topics.

Thank you + have a lovely day! kristine

Awesome Kristine! Great ideas. I loove the idea of using books as part of centerpieces.
