After my youngest daughter Amelia turned one I went back to school for my Masters in Art Education. This past summer I finally finished my thesis — and this beautiful Kate Spade bag would be perfect for me to take along to job interviews! What a fabulous bag! I would put MY stuff in this bag. No baby stuff allowed. Usually, I have a diaper bag to double as my purse. But this would be saved just for me! No diapers, pacifiers, or desitin allowed! Kate Spade is my absolute favorite handbag designer. I love her clean, preppy aesthetics with a little funky twist! I love this larger bag as I can carry not only my essentials, but a favorite book, a notepad for sketching/ideas, a bottle of water, and my new obsession, my polaroid camera. This bag is amazing! I live in Boston and don’t own a car, so I take the bus and train everywhere. Since I am always out and about I need to be prepared for everything, so on any given day I need to carry my wallet, cell phone, water bottle, book (to read while I wait for public transportation), makeup, a sweater (for chilly buses), and a small umbrella (you never know when you will be caught in the rain!). My bags never seem to be big enough for all that I carry, but this bag passes all my requirements for a good commuting bag. It’s large, but high rather than wide (perfect for squeezing in between people on the bus), the handle is large enough to fit around my arms (even with a winter coat), and material will allow rain and snow to fall off the bag and not ruin it. It THE perfect bag. Thanks!

As a graduate student, I would put my life in this bag! Such a lovely bag. It would be the perfect fall/winter accessory for graduate school! It would regularly hold some of my favorite reads, a slim volume of Bonhoeffer, or commentary on Augustine, as well as my class essentials. It’s classically beautiful, so during my breaks it can accompany me to wedding showers and cake tastings where it would be greatly appreciated. When it’s not being utilized by me, I’m sure my five sisters, and two sister’s-in-law would be willing to show it a great deal of love.

I am planning my wedding so I am constantly toting around smaples, pictures, contracts, mags, ect… so that would for sure be in this lovely bag.
If my dog Harley would fit in the bag I would take him everywhere with me…
And I’m sure I would have my camera, lip gloss, keys, loose change, wallet, and so on…

I could almost fit my Vespa helmet in this bag. I could definitely fit my scooter gloves and scarf. I would hang it on my ‘bag hook’ on my Vespa, but I may get mobbed at the traffic lights by hoards of stylish city women. Best to keep it hidden so I don’t risk traffic chaos. Best to keep it hidden altogether as not to jeopardize friendships… Perhaps it’s too risky to own this bag. Best to give it to some other sucker. I definitely don’t want this bag. It would be awful if I won this bag. I really want this bag…..

I got married a little over a year ago and my husband and I still have not gone on a honeymoon. We both work at Narconon drug rehab. I work 5 days a week and he works 6 days a week with very little vacation. Any suggestions on where we could go for an extended weekend trip for our honeymoon that is romantic? We should probably go soon or we won’t go at all.

So glamorous!
I would carry my essentials along with my extravagant add-ons since a bag like this could hold on to more than the average clutch or small purse.
1) Dior backstage mascara. Dramatic eyes are always needed.
2) My tiny little address/notebook. Nothing is more satisfying then scribbling down dates or crossing off checklists in a tiny little leather bound notebook.
3) My copy of “the Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde, my favorite novel that I can always leaf through or have on hand. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lent it out to these in need of his fabulous wit.
4) Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom lotion. For those days of dry skin and the need for a sexy floral kick.
5) Stella Mccartney roll on parfum. Perfect for a little refresher on the neck and functional size .
