There’s something magical about wintertime, and having a winter bridal shower can be a lot of fun. It’s all about frosted glass and crystals, decorations in pale blues and shimmering silvers, and snowflakes. Lots and lots of snowflakes. If you’re having a bridal shower this winter, why not embrace the season and thank your guests with winter-themed favors? Finding the perfect bridal shower favors can be tricky, but favors that match the season are festive, fun, and will be especially appreciated by your guests. Here are three bridal shower favor themes from American Bridal that have winter written all over them:

1. Crystals- Winter is full of shimmering snow and sparkling icicles, so anything that glitters goes perfectly with a winter bridal shower. Favors that are made out of or decorated with crystals like the crystal engagement ring keychain above are a great way to thank your guests with some bling!
2. Snowflakes- Nothing says wintertime more than snowflakes do. Your favors can be shaped like one, decorated with them, or covered in snowflake prints and patterns. The snowflake shaped wine stopper featured above is cute and useful, making it the perfect winter-themed gift for your guests.
3. Frosted glass- Just like frosty windows on a cold morning, frosted glass screams winter. Frosted glass tea light holders can serve as elegant table decorations that your guests get to bring home with them after the shower. Or frosted glass photo coasters make fun shower favors that can double as place card holders.
If you’re having a bridal shower this winter, pick any one of these themes and you’re guaranteed to have a favor that your guests will love!

Valentine’s Day is not only a great day for a wedding proposal, but has also become a very popular day to get married. After all, February 14th is arguably the most romantic day of the year, and with all of the hearts, flowers, and pink going around, your wedding day theme is obvious. Here a few fun products perfect for V-Day weddings.

Throwing rice as a couple exits their wedding venue is a longstanding and fun tradition.
These days, however, many couples are choosing to forego this custom, either as a result of concerns about harming the birds (although this is rumored to be an urban legend), or because their venue has forbidden it due to the mess it leaves and the potential for guests to slip on the grains.

If you’re thinking about abstaining from the rice-throwing tradition, consider bubbles as an alternative!
Beau-coup offers bubbles in bulk ranging from 25 to 70 cents each. You can go with a classic look, or they have adorable daisy or butterfly options, as well.
Bubbles are a fun, safe, mess-free favor to give your guests, and they’ll add a nice touch wafting through the air as the newlyweds depart.
Add them to your wish list and imagine how much fun you and your guests will have at the end of the ceremony!
When a woman is in love, she wants to shout it from the rooftops. And when a woman is at a bachelorette party, she wants free drinks.
Kill two birds with one stone, and look adorable doing it.
Don’t hold back: Go glitz! Brides, tell the world you’re in love with a great guy. And tell the world you need a break from the stress of planning a perfect wedding. A tank top with a wedding-themed slogan spelled out in sparkly type is attention-getting and adorable. They’re fun for the whole wedding party! There are shirts for bridesmaids, the maid of honor, even the grandmother of the bride. Grandma likes to sparkle, too!

Pick any color shirt, flower and rhinestone, and choose from an array of slogans.
Ladies, these tank tops are cute. The shape is girly. The material is soft. The shirts come in a vast array of sizes and colors. Pick a font, color and slogan for your sparkly rhinestones. Does it come with a cute little pin-on flower in a color of your choice? Yes! Yes, it does. This shirt says whatever you want it to say, plus “I know how to have fun!”
Also, everybody knows these things are a magnet for champagne on the house.
Not sure about size and style? Advantage Bridal offers tons of tips and advice, including super specific measurement information. If you and your bridesmaids have just had your dresses fitted, you’ll have no trouble ordering a perfect fit.
Get one for your sister and your best friend from college while you’re at it. Look out boys — you’ll be a sparkling army of cute!
The last of the bubbly is gone, your wedding dress actually has a little wear and you can’t believe your wedding is over. What now?
As a bride (besides being extremely happy and exhausted) you are overflowing with gratitude. How many times can you say “Thank you for coming”, “Thank you for being here” or “Thank you so much” and keep sounding genuine? This is where amazing thank-you’s come in.
The wedding is where all your planning and hard work pays off, so it’s tempting to take a break and stop all things wedding right then and there. Take the time to revel and relax, but don’t forget to follow up with your loved ones.
Let’s start with the wedding party!

The most important aspect of your thank-you’s is to make sure they’re thoughtful and from the heart. Really reflect on what it means for each person to be in your wedding party. Show them why they were selected and show them why they’re special.

2009’s Holiday season has officially begun with Thanksgiving just around the corner!! Christmas trees and other festive decorations are all up in stores already, and as usual, Thanksgiving has not even passed yet! Often times Thanksgiving does not receive enough attention as it rightly should. Thanksgiving is a time of thanks, family, and food! Just like too many times in life we forget to give thanks for the many blessings we have, we overlook the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Celebrating your wedding near the Thanksgiving holiday is a wonderful idea. It actually use to be quite popular for weddings to take place just before or a little after Thanksgiving. Since Thanksgiving is a holiday where family all comes together in celebration, it is a great opportunity to plan your wedding while all your family is already all together.
Even if you are not planning a Thanksgiving wedding, like I said earlier, Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks. Of course, your wedding would not have been possible without the help and support of soo many family and friends and it is important to remember thank each and every one of them.
First off, your bridesmaids! Usually your bestest friends, these girls have supported through all of the wedding madness, and usually have stood by your side during the high school and college years. Make sure your gift to them is something special. Maybe treat them to a fun spa day or you can put together a cute gift basket filled with all kinds of girly items such as chocolate, gift cards, and candles. You can buy each of them the matching jewelry that you would like them to wear on the big day and maybe have cute tote bags created so that the girls will have something convenient to carry all of their belongings from place to place on your wedding.
Now for the boys. Cuff links, beer mugs, or any kind of golf accessories all make for perfect gifts for your favorite boys. Next, you have your flower girl and ring bearer. For the flower girl, a small tote bag that is customized for her to use on your wedding will make her feel soo important and she will love it. For the ring bearer, you can get ideas of fun toys, he will like from his parents.
So this Thanksgiving, if you’re celebrating your wedding or not, remember to give a big thank you to everything and everyone in your life!
Tying the knot during the holiday season can be extraordinary. The time is to be spent with family and a wedding can provide the perfect atmosphere for catching up with loved ones. Décor ideas are unlimited and it doesn’t have to be tacky to make your guests feel the holiday spirit. Check out these ideas for dressing up a holiday wedding:

Incorporating the holidays can even be started before the actual wedding. How adorable are these holiday invites?

So don’t think you need to have Santa and Elves all over your wedding to make your guests feel the holiday warmth. Those ideas can be great, but think deep red berries and pretty ornaments for your table displays. White Christmas lights and luminaries can make the night feel magical while pops of green or silver are sure to impress your guests.
