2009’s Holiday season has officially begun with Thanksgiving just around the corner!! Christmas trees and other festive decorations are all up in stores already, and as usual, Thanksgiving has not even passed yet! Often times Thanksgiving does not receive enough attention as it rightly should. Thanksgiving is a time of thanks, family, and food! Just like too many times in life we forget to give thanks for the many blessings we have, we overlook the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Celebrating your wedding near the Thanksgiving holiday is a wonderful idea. It actually use to be quite popular for weddings to take place just before or a little after Thanksgiving. Since Thanksgiving is a holiday where family all comes together in celebration, it is a great opportunity to plan your wedding while all your family is already all together.
Even if you are not planning a Thanksgiving wedding, like I said earlier, Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks. Of course, your wedding would not have been possible without the help and support of soo many family and friends and it is important to remember thank each and every one of them.

A wedding favor, it’s cheap and useful. If you go to the right Dollar Store you can pick up most rolls for at least, hmmm…. $1.00! Or you could order it from Jam Paper. Have personalized sticker made that says "We’re Stuck On Each Other" (oh, come on that works) be sure it includes your wedding date. Quite a number of summers ago, I was addicted to the Dove ice cream bar. They were fat, covered in Dark Chocolate, and the vanilla ice cream was so delicious. I am not a real big sweet eater and this cool confection had the just the right flavoring. Summer was perfect with a Dove Bar in hand.
