Thank you mommytalk.com!

July 10th, 2008

Last night we had the Wishpot Baby launch hosted by mommytalk.com.   We had a great turnaround and it was overall a lot of fun.  In fact…we’re looking at doing more!

Below the press release by our friends at the mommytalk team!

——

Jul 10, 2008 – MommyTalk.com’s (http://www.mommytalk.com) first-ever virtual launch party, held on behalf of WishPot Baby (http://www.wishpot.com), was a success on Wednesday evening as more than 40 new moms logged onto the site to check out the action.

In a recent partnership with Wishpot Baby, MommyTalk hosted the launch party in the site’s popular chat room.

The party was co-hosted by MommyTalk.com Senior Editor Rachel Dunn
and Wishpot Baby’s Chief Mom Officer Jessica Smith, and included a
virtual scavenger hunt with prizes like a $50 gift certificate to tote
and tee (http://wwwtoteandtee.com), a 30-day membership at GreatAuPair (http://www.greataupair.com), a Gajam Pilates for Beginners Kit and Gaiam Hemp Mat Bag from Mom Generations (http://www.momgenerations.com), a custom Twitter background and a custom virtual business card including hosting from Sally Walker (http://sallywalker.me.uk), a Blue Peacock Wall Decal from The Pear Project (http://www.thepearproject.com), Miessence products from Ely Organics (http://elyorganics.com) and Therapist and Career Coach Diane Lang’s (http://www.dlcounseling.com) book The Path from Motherhood to Career.

“I couldn’t have asked for the Wishpot Baby Virtual Launch Party at
MommyTalk.com to go any better,” said Smith. “We had a lively group,
there was no shortage of laughs as the attendees competed in the online
scavenger hunt to win lots of fabulous giveaways. A total blast!”

Popular mom bloggers such as Susan Lindgrin aka The Lil’ Mommy That Could (http://lilmomthatcould.com), Sabrina Massey of the sound-off, straight up blog MouthyGirl (http://mouthygirl.com) and Christine Young, of the popular From Dates to Diapers(http://www.fromdatestodiapers.com) blog.

“MommyTalk.com (http://www.mommytalk.com) was thrilled to put
on the party and showcase what the site has to offer to many new moms,”
said Dunn. “We’re excited to team up with WishPot Baby and other
similar sites to host even more creative, fun virtual events in the
future.”
