Wishpot has a new look!
Over the past few weeks we’ve been working on revamping our look. The changes are mostly based to the great feedback from our early users (some of them turned into usability studies) about some of the improvements that we needed to make to our navigation model, basic workflows and "perception".
We are actually not done quite yet. There are more changes coming over the next few weeks. In the meantime check out the new site and send us your thoughts! You can reach us at feedback at wishpot doc com!
We just updated wishpot.com with a few changes that we made because of the feedback from our beloved alpha users!
Here’re a few highlights:
- "Hide my age" - You can now hide your age from your public profile. If you are already a member and want to change this setting just ahead up to the "basic info" of your profile page, check the "hide my age" checkbox, and click Save. From now on your age will not show anywhere.
- "keep me signed in" now works! No need to sign-in again when you are using the Wishpot bookmarklet.
- Better "View All Friends". We added a new "grid view" to be able to see all your friends without having to scroll down or go through a few pages. Check out how it looks like for Max’s friends list.
- We improved the "reserve this gift" experience. It’s so much better now.
- We now have a "product page". The product page includes lots more information: list of merchants, prices, and detailed specifications (if available).

Welcome to the Wishpot blog!
Wishpot is a project that we started to make shopping better. In the next few days I will write a bit more about the early ideas that brought us together and where we are heading.
Today there are four of us: Alexis, Lorenzo, Steven and myself (Max). We call Alexis’ house "our office".
The Wishpot Alpha has been out for couple of months and our alpha users have been fantastic! They have have provided us with great feedback and ideas.
